This is taken from the film 'Annabelle' as you can see, the titles are very brief with the minimum of 2 words and maximum of 4 words. The titles are also different sizes to signify the imporance, they are also written in capital letters making it easier to read. The reason they are used is to fill in the gaps in the trailer without interrupting the non linear aspect of the trailer.
Throughout this trailer the background the titles are placed on top of is consistent which keeps the housetyle apparent, as you can see it looks like a wallpaper with blue and black as the main colours, the fact that they are dark corresponds with the genre of the trailer. The titles are all in the same colour to make it look more professsional.
