We decided to ask our target audience what they expect to be in a horror movie and what aspects of the genre they like. Their feedback will aid us in noting the conventions in a horror movie and what best appeals to them when watching existing horror movies.

Their responses were as follows. They enjoyed jumpscares, suspense and tension being built up. This means that we have to makes sure to incorporate these aspects in our own trailer. Many audience members expected to see gore and blood in the trailer which means that those will be featured in the trailer. In conclusion, we will take on board all that has been said by the expectations of our audience in order to make a successful horror trailer that incorporates the conventions of horror trailers.
