This is a mindmap that we created of our initial ideas for both HORROR/THRILLER. We thought that it would be beneficial to jot down any ideas we had for both genres in order to gage an understanding and insight into the genre we want our film trailer to be. 

 

Firstly, we made sure that we differentiated between the two genres even though they do link together in some aspects, we then listed the basic conventions of both genres and then wrote down our ideas about what we thought will aid us in making our trailer.

 

Secondly, we wrote down representations and things we associate with each genre, for example: when looking at horror we know that fake blood and mirror reflections are common in any film trailer.
