This is the finished outcome. This is what it should look like after completing all the stages as instructed.

After doing all the previous stages, this is what happened. As you can see the folder has stayed pink whilst everything else in the shot has turned black&white and has become desaturated. Finally you render and export the video as a '.mov'
We then went to 'Effect Controls'. We clicked on the eye dropper tool in 'Colour to Leave' and selected where the pink folder was as we wanted to leave it the colour it was initially. We also changed the 'Amount to Decolour' to 99% which made everything else in the shot turn black&white apart from the pink folder
We then typed in the search bar for effects - 'Leave Colour' as this will give us the effect that we are looking for.
Firstly, we imported the video we wanted to use and dragged it down to the video 1 section in the timeline sequence.
What is Leave Colour?
Leave Colour is where you leave the colour of one or more thing in the shot but desaturate turn everything else black or white, this is to put emphasis on the colour that is staying the same.
