We decided to make a voice recording of us discussing the plans and initial ideas we have for our film trailer. We felt that this is good way of communicating our ideas in a coherent way which made the ideas flow better and we were able to tell each other what ideas we had come up with and see if the other person felt the same or had their own idea of what to include in the trailer. 

 

First of all, we discussed the difference between Horror and Thriller trailers in order to gage an understanding of which genre to do. Eventually, we decided to stick to a HORROR genre because we felt that it is something that can be easily constructed and also there were subcategories within the Horror genre umbrella such as; paranormal, slasher etc. As a result from our research we found that Horror interlinks with Thriller so therefore it made it easier to include certain concepts of Thriller and interweave it into our own trailer.
